Areacare Double Layer Pressure Surface [Bsps2000]

The Novis AreaCare Double Layer Mattress is designed to be an excellent pressure solution for multi-use in hospitals, nursing homes and home care environments. Ideal for those with partial mobility this mattress has a two layer pressure surface. The high density top layer is a temperature sensitive memory foam that will conform to the user's shape, whilst working in conjunction with the firm medium density core to ensure maximum support.

To reduce shear and friction the polyurethane top cover has a multi-stretch material. The seams have been stitched to increase strength, and then welded or tape sealed for minimum infection control whilst a waterfall skirt provides protection from moisture ingress. The PVC base is non-slip to ensure the mattress stays in position on the bed.

The cover of the Novis AreaCare Double Layer Mattress has been treated for dust mites, mould, bacteria and mildew, and has an asset management panel for recording facility details. The top cover and PVC base can be cleaned with warm water and a sodium hypochlorite solution (or similar), top cover can be machine washed up to 80 degrees.
